Stanford MLA Program’s Tangents journal is available to view online!
Tangents is published annually and features the works of Stanford MLA students and alumni. Edited and produced by a committee of MLA students and alumni, the journal includes scholarly essays, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and other creative works. Publication in Tangents is an important vehicle for sharing ideas with our MLA community; Tangents also is a showcase for a favorite paper, a scholarly work, or creative piece. To this end, our publication covers a diverse spectrum of topics that reflects the interdisciplinary nature of the MLA program and the broad talents of the MLA community.
Tangents 2020 is now available to view online. This year’s issue takes us from Vilnius to Iran, from Jane Austen to jazz. Contents include three poems, three memory pieces, and a variety of scholarly works. To read the journal, click here.
