Thirty Years
This year, Confluence is publishing it’s thirtieth volume.[1] For thirty years now, we have had the privilege of publishing some truly excellent work—scholarly, creative, and in between—most of which was in some form or fashion produced for, inspired by, or encouraged from within a graduate liberal studies program. And although without such consistent, high-quality submissions there would surely be no Confluence, after thirty years it’s high time we formally acknowledge the individuals and programs who have put in the work and support to create and maintain this excellent publication. I don’t think it’s misguided to say that, even with consistent, high-quality submissions, without the time, work, care, and support of these individuals and programs, the Journal would have perished long ago. I hope that all who follow Confluence and who appreciate graduate liberal studies and the work of the AGLSP will share my immense gratitude for the people and programs listed below.

[1] The first few volumes were published as VoicePrint, but the title of the Journal was soon changed to The Journal of Graduate Liberal Studies. That title stood through Volume XI; Volume XII was the first volume under the title Confluence.
